INARESTO ng Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group–NCR ang vlogger na si Norman Mangusin, mas kilala bilang “Francis Leo Marcos,” sa loob ng Sheraton Hotel nitong Martes.

Hinuli si Mangusin habang naka-live sa kanyang social media page at nanananghalian.

Nag-ugat ang pag-aresto sa bisa ng warrant of arrest na inisyu ng Parañaque City RTC Branch 294 na konektado sa multiple counts ng unjust vexation.

“I confirm that Norman Mangusin, also known as Francis Leo Marcos, was arrested today by the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG NCR) at the Sheraton Hotel by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 294 Parañaque City,” ani Commissioner Ralph Calinisan ng National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM).

Ayon kay Calinisan, kabilang sa mga dahilan ng paghuli sa social media personality ang umano’y hindi awtorisadong pagsusuot nito ng uniporme ng pulisya, gayundin sa seryosong alegasyon ng paggamit ng iba’t ibang pangalan, pasaporte at birth certificate, at pagkakaroon ng hindi awtorisadong security personnel.

“Prior to this development, we held a coordination meeting with CIDG regarding Mangusin’s unauthorized use of a police uniform, as well as serious concerns involving his alleged use of multiple names, passports, and birth certificates,” saad niya.

Pormal na rin umanong nakikipag-ugnayan ang NAPOLCOM sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) at Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) para sa beripikasyon ng mga dokumento.

“We have also sent formal communications to the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Philippine Statistics Authority requesting document verification and informing them that certain records may have been fraudulently acquired,” dagdag pa ni Calinisan. (TOTO NABAJA)
